Things To Do When You're Bored

These are NOT MINE OR MY IDEAS! All of this was taken from Peppywolf's now deleted blog Animal Jam Rainy Days, so DO NOT think that these were my ideas, they were PEPPYWOLF'S EXACT WORDS. Okay, thank you!

These ideas are something new to bring to jammaa, so if you’re tired of clans, “meet your match,” and other over used things such as trading parties, than why not try one of these out? Animal jam can tend to get boring after a while don’t blame AJHQ  and don’t blame yourself, just get your thinking cap on, and think of your very own ideas, because let’s be honest AJHQ listens, but we have to quit begging them for everything when we can start our very own fun!

Trick-or-treating: Halloween in jammaa has never been so much fun, so gather 4-10 of your buddies, and have them host trick or treating at their den, get your husband/buddy/child to announce who's dens have their lights on, and are ready to give out some candy! (instead of candy we could use plushies, and the "good houses" will give out rares. The "good houses" won't be mentioned, and are left for young jammers to learn on their own)

Scammers anonymous: Scammers will be convinced to quit scamming once they step foot into Scammers anonymous, all stories of scams/hacks are confidential, and if we find one jammer gossiping about it they will have straight up hate mail for the next month. We will test scammers by sending them rares, and having them send them back, we will start with plushies, and work our way up to beta. We will also lecture the scammers who are willing to stay, and have them tell the rest of the group at least one scamming story

School: Don't stop reading this idea IS original. First of all each class will be held in a different jammers den, or you will switch dens for each class, there will be a school play that will be practiced in drama, and a spelling bee that will be practiced in english. Make sure all students are active so they won't miss out on the fun! Also take attendance every day, if a student missed jam-a-gram them telling them the time of their private study, and if a student is flunking assign them a tutor. This is a great way to roleplay, and just have fun, and learn! Isn't learning what aj was made for?

Wolf/fox/any animal scouts: This is an isanely fun thing to host, have each member open up a word doc. and type up all the usernames they sold cookies to when cookie selling comes, and have them tell you when and where, and who give the member who sold the most a prize (with prizes make up a prize list, if you sell 8 boxes you get a plushie if you sell 60 you get a rare, etc...)

The costume contest: This has been done before, but it has never been so organized. Have a side account at a desk while ur out in jammaa township. The side account will have people signing up, and you will type the animals names on word doc. or write them on a notebook, not all jammers have to sign up, but it is recomended, you can have a costume contest in a holloween party, a convention, etc... just make sure to have your side account announce the winners, and call them up to stage.

Play ideas: Make a stage with coffee tables, use the pet castles as props, as well as plushies as props, for each scene edit the stage.

The grand jammaa ball: Host a ball with carriages, and a castle you yourself will be royalty looking for a mate, and he/she will have the final dance with you, of course you will need a lot of epic items to be considered royalty, and this isn’t recommended for poor, or new jammers.

Host Club: If you have ever seen the anime ouran high school host club you will love this idea, you can be a host/hostess entertaining  your lovely guests (flirting, holding, nothing to serious) If you are hiring make sure your employees do not find the job to degrading.

Goodbye parties: if you are truly quitting, and only if you are truly quitting animal jam would this ever be a good idea. Host a goodbye party for yourself, giving away gifts to fellow jammers, make sure your den is empty, and everyone gets a chance to say goodbye. This is optional, but it would be kind of you to prepare a speck on why you are leaving.

Surprise! Parties: Surprise! Is a lovely word to yell, or... type? If you have a buddy you had not seen in ages, or it’s their birthday why not get a bunch of buddies to their den and hide, than send them a jam-a-gram telling them to get to their den. Hiding behind trees, and hay bales is easy, just make sure all the guests know what the v.i.p. of the party looks like, and don’t jump out to soon!

Family Feud: Do you know 2 families on animal jam? Do you like game shows, and have you ever wanted to host one? Invite the families over, and set up your den like they do in family feud, look up the show, and you’ll get the picture.

Advertisements: Do you have animal jam blog, and would like to advertise jammaa businesses? Such as spas, restaurants, etc. Have your buddies send you a gift for an advertisement on your blog, you can have discounts for buddies, and family, but to make any profit on this don’t overdo it!

Couples Counseling: If you’ve been having some trouble with your “husband”/”mate” on animal jam,  couples counseling is kind of what you’re looking for to remain a healthy friendship even after the breakup, heck things might even work out! To set this up in your den, you will need a coffee table, any sort of thrown/chair, the rest of the decoration is up to you, but I’d keep it simple.

Book Clubs: This is fun, but you must have active members, and make sure they actually have the book you’re discussing; they must finish at least one chapter a week, and once everyone is done you can host a free discussion. You can host the book club at all of the member’s dens, remember to be active!

Movie Club: This is simpler than a book club, because there is no pace on how fast you watch a movie. The club members must be active, and you can host a free discussion once a week. This is optional, but you can draw names and pick who will pick the next movie, and you may also recommend movies.

Horrible Babysitting: This is really fun to do, if you see anyone in jammaa township looking for a babysitter/nanny take the job, and do as the title says! ( Eat all of the food in the kitchen, take the baby to your friends dens, and get the baby kidnapped by one of your storage/side accounts, of course make one of your buddies a cop so they can investigate while you slowly give out clues of what the “kidnapper” looked like, and where he/she could be)

Put your toy box to use: This works for non-members, newbies, and members alike all you need is a toy chest, some action figures from phantom invasion, and some plushies from the carnival/claw machine. Invite a buddy over, and ask if they want to play with some toys, they can choose which toy they’d like to play, and you can set a plot. Of course you have control of the movement of the plushies, being able to edit your den and all.

Carriage rides: This is a bit expensive to pull off, but worth it. You’ll need at least two dens one preferably a castle.  Get a buddy, and some horses/horse plushies to pull the carriage. Take your buddy on a ride to your next den, but make it something like a shop, or a restaurant, or get lost in the woods. It’s really fun,  trust me if you can get your buddy to play along you’ll have a great time.

Play date: This one’s my favorite. Make a den with a childish room, and a mature room. Include a bathroom, living room, and kitchen, and most importantly a tree house. Invite 1-3 buddies over, and play with toys, watch T.V., and here comes the fun part take them into your treehouse. As soon as you enter the den item switch your den to a tree house den to make it seem like you, and your buddies have entered the tree house.  After playing for a little while say your mother is calling, and you have to go back inside, switch back to your regular den, and have dinner, clean up, and go to bed. Rather your buddies sleep over, or not is completely up to you!
